Musings of an organic gardener in Cincinnati

Garden Musings

Ready, Set, Grow!

In Cincinnati, we had an early stretch of cold and snowy weather this winter. It segued into a very rainy February (like a “will the rain ever stop?” February) and now here we are in March.

It seems like Mother Nature sends out a group “Ready, Set, Grow!” message to all the plants, and I love wandering through the gardens this time of year to check out what’s going on. Here are a few of my favorites from the past week or so.

Wildflowers waking up

Strawberry plant doing its thing

Catmint starting to grow

Hello

I'm a nature-loving, dig-in-the-dirt organic gardener in the Queen City of Cincinnati (Zone 6a). Always learning, experimenting, and sharing...let's grow something!
